Memory heap dancer

Asynchronous dancers. Contemporary electronic music.

This piece is part of the Lost objects collection. Also part of this collection are the pieces Back to dust and Ephemeral summer.

Back to dust

Improvisations on machine dreams. Contemporary electronic music written during the global pandemic. The video features images generated by a BigGAN neural network for machine learning called The Big Sleep. I provided the network with various input sentences which it then “dreamed” about to create the images.

This piece is part of a series called Lost objects collection. Also part of this collection are the pieces Memory heap dancer and Ephemeral summer.

Ephemeral summer

This piece is part of a collection of pieces called The lost objects collection. The series deals with nostalgia, memory, and the strange relationship between man and machine. The project started in the strange isolation brought on by the pandemic, which may be audible in the pieces’ quietude, and their lonely landscapes. Also part of this collection are the pieces Memory heap dancer and Back to dust.
